Pulley Question

Pulley Question
Hey guys, I'm new to jaguar. About a week ago I bought a 2006 XkR. I previously had a 2004 mustang cobra producing 427 rwhp. So I know about pulley changes and little things like that. I changed out my factory pulley in the cobra and replaced it with a 2.81" one. I still have that pulley. I was wondering if it would fit in this engine? And seeing how the XkRs have eaton superchargers, would it be capable of sending the blower to steigmeier? If so what power gains am I looking at?

I beleive the Jaguar version of the Eaton MI112 supercharger is unique from other applications and the pulleys are not compatible. There are several sources of Jaguar compatible pulleys (Eurotoys, Mina, Paramount, search on ebay, and others).
Search the S-type forum for several threads regarding porting the supercharger. It seems most of the results reported have been less than dramatic.

For that kind of power it will cost at least an arm or a leg . The most straighforward proven path is to swap out your Eaton M112 Supercharger for a Kenne Bell 2.6 twin screw supercharger.

I'm not sure you know what you are asking of the Jag... you are looking for a 50% increase in HP. Remember an engine is basically an air pump, you need to get more air in to get more out. The twin screw supercharger, posi-trac differential, and computer remap may take you to near your goal, but generally you need to get more cold air into the engine. You will probably need a larger bore throttle body and potentially larger valves. That is why XKRacer is saying that you are looking at $10K in potential costs.
