Default Quarter window rebuild

Hello guys
I am tying to repair rebuild the rear quarter window on an Xk8.

Ive sourced the wire and the motor spool. They are same as the original.
The wire had been cut for removal of regulator from car.

I have removed the motor from the frame. The kit comes with a new spool.
Can't quite figure how to route the wires around the two ends and the motor's spool.

Anyone have instructions on how to?
I do not at this time have access to JTIS.

Thank you fir the pictures.
Interesting solution by Jarboe, using an eyelet to straighten the cable so it does not jump the pulley.
Very resourceful.
Still having doubts on how to win the cable on the spool properly.

Hi.

On Gus' site (JagRepair.com) there is a link to a long article written by Dan Jensen.
Take a look and see if it gives any clues.

Thank you.
I was aware of the article. It is a must if you want to remove your quarter window regulator.
It has served me well in the past.
I can't thank Jag Repair enough for all the wonderful articles made available to us.
I've become quite adept at removing the regulators.

This time, after having two used regulators sourced from
The internet fail, I decided to give it a go at a rebuild.
After multiple and frustrating attempts, I've succeded in replacing the wire and motor spools.
Since there seems to be no tutorial available, I will do a post mortem attempt at pointing out how to do it.
To be followed by another repair in the near future.
