Looking into getting the Mina gallery Intake tube, keeping stock airbox, mainly because my plastic intake tube is warped/damaged/deteriorated where it connects to the throttle body.(97 xk8 4.0 na ) my question is if I get the Mina gallery intake tube is the gasket (o-ring) part # nja3554aa still used or is it eliminated using the Mina gallery tube? My oem intake tube is stock and its lifespan is well over as well as stock o ring. Just wondering if I will need to order a replacement o-ring when ordering an intake tube. Thanks

The Mina intake does not use a rubber o-ring gasket, a 90 degree rubber elbow is included that connects the charge pipe to the throttle body.

I have one of these still in the box if you want to come over and try it out.

 

There is no O-ring but the rubber elbow is not amazing quality, so people choose to cut the stock elbow (you'd need a new O-ring in that case), and use that instead of the rubber one.
