I am seriously considering getting my top and the headliner replaced but have a few questions for folks with experience and knowledge on the subject. I have having it done by a local professional who does excellent work for the local market ( mostly American muscle cars )

1/I can source tops from the US at Tops Online but would also like a UK source if possible. I want an original equipment quality product.

2/ Besides the top and head liner are there any sort of drip rails or plastic bits that I will need ? I replaced the top on my Mazda MX5 and standard practice was to replace a plastic drain rail at the same time. It does not appear that the XK8 has such a ting but wanted to be sure.

3./Any misc tips I can pass along to the installer who I am relatively sure has never done an XK8 before.
