Default R Performance shocks suitable for a standard suspension car?

I'm going to replace the shock absorbers to my YM 2004 XKR Coupe (final facelift). Now that it must be done I was thinking about upgrading the shock absorbers for the better ones. If I buy new OEM adaptive control damping R Performance shock absorbers, instead of standard OEM shocks, will they work in my car? My car was originally delivered with standard adaptive shocks. Has anyone here made the same improvement?

l thought the R perfomance package included some recalibration for the damper control module itself. That may have a bearing on your change.

I did it, works fine.

In my case, the R shocks were actually less expensive than the regular ones. Still ridiculous but slightly less ridiculous.

I expect them to work without a problem. I would like to know what the difference is between the R-performance shocks and the normal CATS shocks. I imagine they are stiffer?

Does anyone have the Bilstein part numbers for the R-Performance variants? 20-070540?
