Default Radio/GPS quit. Where do I start to look.

2006 XKR convertible, 25K miles. The radio (Alpine system) just quit. I pulled, checked and reinserted all related fuses (front & rear panels) and all seems to be good there but no love to be had. Where do I go from there? Thanks for your replies!

Replacing the amp in the trunk fixed the radio / CD player / & GPS in my Alpine equipped ‘02 XKR.

i had no way to test my suspicions so I just took a gamble on eBay’s cheapest Jaguar amp (one which had the correct part number stamped on it). It cost me about $34 IIRC.

Success !

Hello.........I would be wondering if there is a fuse inside the radio, or some burned part or short that is holding it down to prevent power-on.
