Default Re-covered Sun visors to match headliner

I just did my headliner with suede... turned out alright but, as many of you experienced, the mis-matched sun visors didn't look proper. I looked all over the web but, could not find a solution I liked, those visors on the xk don't separate, and if I used the headliner material, the foam backing made it look too thick. Then I saw, on ebay an add for DECOIN self stick suede. It comes in all colors and the tan was a perfect match for my headliner. This stuff is awesome! but, have patience if it folds back it will stick to itself. Take a look at the pics... I am happy with them. I think this stuff will be used on many more projects! It comes from South Korea and with shipping cost me $30.00... and they ship FAST! I trust you can see the before and after... this stuff is as thin as skin and just as pliable... it worked perfect! What do you think?

Looks good and matches great, are the edges just folded over and kept together with the backing adhesive?

Not to sure the suede is to my taste but to each their own and great modding!

Default Recovered sun visors

I guess my camera sort of exaggerates the look of the suede... no it isn't velvet. Now that I look at the photos, it does look very fuzzy... but in person it's just normal suede. As for the edges, I just sandwiched the visor with the material, pinching the edges together along the edge , forming a thin seam... then just trimming the excess as close as possible. No, I'm NOT doing the dash! ... lol. I've always been a "nut & bolts" guy... this was my first time doing anything to an interior.
