Default Rear bumper mounts

Does anyone happen to know if energy absorbing rear bumper mounts can be fitted to a 2000 XK8 that has non energy absorbing mounts as standard?

They look like they might fit, if they're legal in the UK.

Or are the former only available in the USA?

I don't see why not. I've had my bumper off a couple times, and one mount was replaced by the body shop after a small accident. I would do it.

Default doubt it

Doubt they will without changing your bumper. I had an Arden bumper, UK spec, and it required I collapse the shock mounts in order to fit suggesting the UK bumpers don't have the room for the shock mounts so you may have to get a US bumper as well or lose the shock part.
