Ok, So I am still in the R&D phase of my lsd 02 xk8 and I have gotten some good and somewhat bad mostly good info and I talked with a guy at Coventry West (Scott Baker) about there lsd and quoted 4K and most of you fellas told me about Coventry cost was around $1300.00 and this guy at Coventry all he wanted was for me to send him 4K no questions ask basically just send the $$ is there something I am missing here in my quest to lsd?? The Quaife was around $1500.00 and or am I missing something here as well as to reach my goal of lsd with Quaife as well? I am just a little confused.

 

I just ordered a Quaife from ProStreetOnline and the price was ~$1500. It's a special order part, 4-6wks for delivery, 50% down.

The no questions $4k sounds a little shady.

I ordered my Quaife LSD from ProStreet as well and also paid about $1500. The $4k from Coventry sounds fishy.

I agree I paid about $1200. for my 3.77 LSD with the correct flange for an XKR. There is something wrong there.

 

I corresponded with Pete Bond at Coventry West two weeks ago. The XJR6 differential, mounting plate and shipping total $1,375.00.

Perhaps the price you were told included something else? Different rear ratio and labor?

I never understood if the rear ratio change was part of that price...
