Default Rear side markers not working

My rear side markers are not working. All other lights are working fine. Checked fuses 19 and 21 both are ok

Any thoughts on what to check next

Thanks

The bulbs could be burned out. Check the continuity with a continuity tester or an ohmmeter. If they're bad, replace them.

If they're good, inspect the socket for corrosion. If dirty, clean the contacts. Make sure you've turned on the marker lights with the light switch! Put a voltmeter across the connections at the socket and see if you've got 12 volts. If you do, reinstall the good bulbs, they should work.

If you don't have 12 volts, reinstall the bulbs anyway and go back to the fuse box, pull the fuses and go through the same cleaning drill at the fuse location. Reinstall the fuses and check to see if the bulbs are lit. If not, see if there is 12 volts between the hot side of the fuse contacts and ground (any metal connected to the frame). If there is, you've probably got an open wire between the bulb side of the fuse and the bulb socket - have fun with that. If you don't have 12 volts at the hot side of the fuse, check again to make sure your lights are switched on. If they are, you'll have to trace the voltage back through the light switch. You'll need the wiring diagram for that. More fun.

Hope this helps.

If the bumper was ever removed in the past, the marker lamp connector may have been forgotten. A quick back-crawl can confirm that fact pretty easily.

My mechanic has re-wired corroded connections...sockets etc a number of times. Not a big deal but it seems to be a bad place for wiring as it happens every once in a while. Should be an easy fix.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Repaired a bad wire on the left and cleaned the corrosion out of the socket on the right.

All good to go.
