Default Rear Speakers dead

Driving home (from the shop) the rear speakers suddenly cut out completely. Both sides are out in back. Are there any fuses or connections that I should check first? Thanks in advance for the help.

Did you check all of the obvious stuff. Like it doesn't work with the radio? cd player, tape deck? Are they all with out sound in the rear? Did you try to change the fader from front to rear to see if it just goes quite. In my coupe I believe I just have the one rear speaker on the deck. Everything else is up front. Did you have anything in the trunk that might have caught a speaker wire and pull it off or broken connection? All of the speakers are accessable you could pull each and test them out side the car on another system to see if the speakers still function. Just some obvious stuff to look for. Not really an answer but cheap way to eliminate what you don't know.

I didn't there were any full-range speakers back there. They're all in the door and dash.

I know the Convertible has subs that sit by the seats (2) and the Coupe's are in the back (1).

It's the subs that stopped working all of a sudden.

Well, the amp has its own sub 'channel', so it could be just the amp went bad.
