Default Rear Subframe needed other parts may be required

Can anyone advise or recommend where I can source a new/used Rear sub-frame for my 2001 XKR, something affordable would be nice. Any specialist parts suppliers would be helpful to know of.

Welcome to the forums Basses37,

That rather depends on where you are. I can view your registration profile and location but other members don't have this access. We're an International forum and recommended suppliers in say Australia or the US may not be too useful.

As you have a 2001 XKR, the place to post the question is X100 forum:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/xk8-xkr-x100-17/

Do you need the full assembly or is it the usual 'A' Frame failure?

Graham

Welcome to the forum Tony,

I've deleted your two other identical threads, please don't start any more.

Hi Graham, I have been told it is the lower part i.e. nearest the road that has the large bushes attached. Does that information help?

Jaguar calls it a suspension subframe, part # is now C2N1017.

It's listed on Heritage, but showing 'out of stock':

https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic...-subframe.html

You could try Dave Roche (DCR Autoparts):

..or possibly the 'Bay.
Problem with sourcing S/H from the UK is finding one that isn't also suffering from the dreaded tinworm

YES - that's the A Frame as michaelh has already identified for you. One of those large bushes (arrowed in red) on either side.

The bushes are a regular failure but more recently there's reports of the entire A Frame rotting. The support brackets (arrowed in blue) are also known to rot.

A careful search for solid replacements is essential.
