I viewed a video on You Tube of a person installing a switch to control the rear windows on his XK8, seperately from the top. It looked simple enough, so when I tried to install it on my car connecting to the same wires as shown, it didn’t work.
The car in the video looks to be an early “2000” model, and I have a 1999. Does anyone know the correct wires I should connect to? The wiring harness that runs under the console is where I am attempting to splice in to. The pin number on the yellow connector would be helpful if someone knows which ones to use.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Welcome again Growler1,

You have already posted an Intro (https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/n...member-202154/) so I've moved your question from New Member Area - Intro a MUST to XK8/XKR forum for advice from members with the same model.

Please read my reply to your original Intro before posting again.
