I have replaced the rear window in my 2004 XK8 Convertible Twice both times the window appears to be distorted (wavy). One window was after market and the last one was original equipment. Any help in this area would be appreciated!

 

Hi Kelliot, You must be frustrated. Can you say more about what you would like help with? Not sure I understand what you are requesting.

 

I think I know what you mean. It's like a shimmying, especially noticeable when you look out through the window from inside the car and move your head up and down slightly in a silly-looking fashion. It seems to follow the pattern of the heating filaments. My rear window is original, so I always thought it was just supposed to be like that. I've yet to lose any sleep over it.

 

I'm not losing sleep over it but it is annoying and the glass repair shop said it shouldn't be that way. I'm waiting for Jaguar to respond. Thanks for your help.

 

I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem and how did they remedy the problem.
