Question red wheel center cap replacement?

Hello all,

Jack here, three time Jag owner, but relative newbie to this board. Already saved myself some headache and a bunch of money from info you shared, so, thanks much for sharing your expertise.

Have a question - just purchased a drop dead gorgeous 2002 XKR 100, and it has red wheel center caps. I have read that these are special to these cars.

Of course, out of all the things to go missing on the car, one of these is lost.

Anyone have any idea how I could find a replacement? I would be willing to trade a case of Bud Light and some pretzels for the right one.

Thanks again,

Jack

Look on E-bay, I've seen them there I don't think they are special to the XKR100 A friend of mine has them on her 97 XK-8 She does have the optional 18" Jag Wheels on the car.
There's a set on E-Bay now but I believe there for the S.

Thanks for the quick and accurate replies, guys. Amazing group, this. Here I was getting ready to take the rest off and store them away.

Maybe, if I ask nicely, some scholar and gentlemanly moderator will upgrade my account to full access so I can see things like the calendar.

Thanks again, guys. Great group of folks here. Learned something today - my wheel centers are called "motifs."

Reminds me of the first time I left my trunk open. The car said "Boot is open" and I said - well, we never tuck our pants in our boots down here in Texas!

Have a good night.

Jack

Red caps are standard on the XKR, just like the bonnet badge and side badges. XK8's are green. Ebay (and ebay UK) is definitely a good source.

There's a calendar?
Only the admin can upgrade you I'm afraid but a few more posts (6) and Bob's your uncle.

Go to the girls on cars thread and post six pics of your wife/girlfriend on your new car!

By the way... I didn't even know we had a calendar. Where the heck is it?

I just went on a quick search for the calendar and I don't see it either.

cool, a calendar, now we can start putting our meets and 'contest' deadlines and such on there....not like anyone will see it though, except the new guy with the XKR 100.

Well, this is going well. Just joined, and suddenly am the only one that can manage the calendar. Just don't start calling me "Madam Secretary" or anything!

Have a good day, guys and gals.

You've made the 10 posts now so everything should work for you now.

Congrats.

Thumbs up

Thanks Norri. Notice your location is PHX - I visited Scottsdale this spring, my manager and teammates are out there. I go out there every year or so.

Love that place, very cool. Lots of old guys and their secretaries in their Ferraris.

Have a good day, all.

Re: the centercaps. I have the 20" BBS wheels and they currently have the painted green caps that sort of match the hood badge. Do the 20" wheels use the same caps as 18" or are they special (I guess I should as at Welsh also).
