Reliable Independent in NW Indiana/Chicago ?

Due to a misguided 'recommendation' by my local Jaguar dealer to;
Have the car towed in for possible starter issues, after my battery went dead......
And simply solving the issue thanks to this forum...(new battery....)
I am seeking a reliable INDEPENDENT who is knowledgable as well as reasonable
If that is at all possible, given the car 'status' ?
In the area delineated above.

I've operated a collision repair business for 24 years in NW Indiana.

There are occasions when I sub-let advanced mechanical repairs.

Of all the dealerships and independent shops, my highest regard goes to "Dean's Auto Repair" on US30 in Merrillville Indiana.

Time and time again, they have astounded me with integrity and their ability to perform any repair.

I've Known many repair techs as an employer and before that as a worker in other businesses...

Yes, there are others that excel, but I have never, in all the years, had any issue with Dean's Auto Repair.
