Removing cushion from frame
I am planning to fit new covers to the two cushions in my front seats of my X100. I watched the video by Tony Toller on how to remove the seats and it is pretty easy, especially in a convertible. I have the first one out and on the bench. I disconnected and re-connected the battery and I didn't lose radio codes - the only minor problem was that it took quite a few cycles to get the side windows to open and close correctly. (for those who haven't had this problem yet, you lower the window until you hear a click, and then you raise it until you hear a click).
OK, now to get my question. In Tony Toller's second video, he already has the seat cushion out of the frame and on the carpet. He managed to get the new cover on without too much trouble and showed a couple of tricks to make it easier. I figured I could I could do that and save the expense of going to a motor trimmer.
But here's the thing, I couldn't for the life of me work out how to get the cushion out of the frame. In the video he is shown 'introducing' (he is English!) the frame to the cushion to finish the job.
I would really appreciate it if someone has done this and can show me how.
