I want to remove the original 3 piece grille and install an aftermarket 1 piece convex mesh grille (Minagallery). I am told that on my 2002 XKR, I need to remove the bumper cover with an 8mm socket wrench. I cant find the release area to use the 8mm wrench, all I see are phillips screws underneath on both sides. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Dean

There are 5 or 6 8mm bolts on the top of the bumper cover just in front of the radiator. You'll see them when the hood is open. BTW, they may have some spacers under the to align the cover with the hood. Make sure you keep them in the proper order when you reinstall the cover. Good luck. I did the Mina grill on my XK8 and thoughht it looked great. Wish the same grill would fit my 06 XKR.
