Default repair/shop manual 1997 XK8

Good afternoon,
Is there not a paper shop/repair manual available for the 1997 XK8? I have looked, and have only found a pdf or (I think) a disc drive or a flash drive type digital manual. I know that I'm a dinosaur, but I really like to hold and search pages for my instructions.
If no paper manual, I may have to get a cd or flashdrive and print it out (lots of paper I know). I am a dinosaur but I don't knock over trees any more to eat the leaves, but I am willing to sacrifice some for paper to help my brain process.
Thanks,
Dennis

FWIW, most of us would keep an electronic copy for reference, and maybe print the relevant pages to take to the garage for a specific job. Some of those sections are pretty verbose and probably somewhat unnecessary for somewhat-more-than-junior home mechanic. Sometimes, printing torque specs, etc., is all it takes.

I'd say take a look at a specific section (like a brake job) and determine the value of a paper copy for yourself after that.

I seem to remember that the XJ40 and the XJS were the LAST Jaguars to have a printed paper manual. I have the sets from the dealer I worked at. (they were going to throw them in the trash so they let me have them)

The X300 sedan series and the X100 were only issued JTIS so that is what we used. (1 to 21 on CD and then internet Jaguar Business Online))

Dennis,

JTIS was the 'official' source and, like fmertz, I print off sections from there as required. However, you will find links to PDF versions in the FAQ's and these are a better prospect for printing.

Scroll down to the bottom and you will find:

The first one (the version for your 1997 XK8) is definitely a conversion of a printed document JJM 10 04 14/7 but the others were clearly designed only as electronic documents. You will need a large tree - it's 462 pages.
