sidemarker clips

sidemarker clips
XK8 anyone know where to get the spring steel clips that hold the side markers in place? Or a part #? I found the markers without the clips, so I think they should/ or were available.

Just go buy a Tube of "Clear" Silicone...Put it around the edges of the Side Marker and push it into place.....It will do the trick and will not show through.......
A Tube of Silicone cost about $8 to $9 Bucks.... It can be removed from the Fender if need be and will not damage the Paint.....or the Side Marker!

thnks, that is how it is on currently, just wanting to return to the clips. I found some spring steel strapping and made some. thanks for the time

Then the only way to get the "Clips" would be to buy new Side Markers or go to a Wrecking Yard and get a Side Marker from a Wrecked XK8 or XKR....or spend the approximately $40.00 for a new one! Unless one of your Jaguar friends has an extra one to send you......
