I use Gliptone leather conditioner every two months on my seats, it keeps the leather supple and gives a nice aroma of leather. Most seats in British cars are not sealed merely really well conditioned which means over time they will dry out and crack. Conditioning is the key.

I guess it would be different if I had had the car for the past 10 years but the previous owner didnt condition their seats. Mine aren't that bad but I just can't justify spending 300 on having both front seats customized with my suede inserts and not looking new!
I ordered today, two new front seat skins and I'm sending my suede alcantara panels for them to stitch and put in as they make them. It's only 300.00 more and I can install them my self.
I think I'll sell my seat skins since I know they are better than some out there. My passenger seat looks great and my drivers seat looks good, just the bolster needs some tlc, more than I want to put into it.

Try these guys: Seat Upholstery, Carpet Sets, Converitble Tops, Headliners, Door Panels and Rubber Seals for Jaguar XK, XK8, XKR Coupes & Convertibles from World Upholstery & Trim
They use the word "original" sparingly on their site - maybe they can supply you with what you're looking for.
