While fitting a new window winder mechanism I managed to put a screwdriver through my door speaker (don't ask) and so need a replacement.
With the originals no longer available and not inclined to use second hand speakers I wondered if anyone had any recommendations at a sensible price, preferably only needing to adjust the wires and not requiring cutting into the door card etc.
I have seen Pyle PLG6C speakers at a sensible price but reviews seem a bit mixed. (I saw the threads suggesting JBL speakers but they are not available in the UK and postage from abroad is almost as much as the speakers)
I have a budget of about £75 if that is any help.
Thanks

You might want to do a google search for a local speaker repair shop. When my rear speakers blew out I had them overhauled at a speaker repair shop. Came back sounding like new.

I'll see if I can find the info on the Kicker speakers I bought - exact fit - no issues

tberry,
I went with Kicker 43DSC6504 for the door speakers in my non-premium amp music set up (just the head unit in my car) and I was very pleased with them. They did have a "breaking in" period though.
