I need to find a replacement engine for my 2001 XK8 4.0 engine is it fessible to use an XJ 4.0 engine what are the differences ? I did find a great price on a remanufactured XK8 engine $2500 in California but the $495 Core charge along with shipping the core back cost of $295 bring the cost higher than I would like does anyone know anywhere I can acquire a Remanufactured XK8 4.0 on the East coast I am located in Balto. Md ?

 

I put a 2003 XJ8 4.0 engine in my 2001 XK8. No problems.
