Default Replacing silicone valley hoses with original spec...

Title says it all... I've had the car 3 years now and don't do a lot of mileage, maybe 700 miles a year... The previous owner had the red silicone hoses fitted... Within a few months of having the car, I was getting a coolant leak... Took the supercharger off and found the valley hose clamps needed nipping up... No leaks until a couple of month's ago when I came back from offshore to find a big puddle under the car... Decided to replace the valley hoses so got a couple from Britishparts, about £8 each... When I took the old hoses off, I discovered the ID of the silicone hoses was 27.5mm, the replacement hoses were 24.5mm and a snug fit... So it looks like the silicone hoses were too big anyway... Car is back together and running fine, no leaks although I did initially get a Restricted Performance warning... Didn't show any codes on my OBD tester... I'd forgotten to reconnect the mass flow switch on the intake pipe... All good now..

OEM for me. I don't trust any aftermarket stuff that hasn't been around for years and has a good reputation on the forums.
