Default Restricted Performance after changing Hose

Car was running fine. Heater Hose burst. Happened while backing out of the Driveway. Car was towed to the Shop. I'm pretty sure it never overheated. Had a local shop change out the Hose. Car now has Restricted Performance Light and numerous misfire codes (P0300, P01313, P1314, P1316, PO302, P0303 and P0305). Any Suggestions on where to start?

Any chance the battery went quite flat? Worth charging it.

Or any coolant got into plug wells? (Have a look.)

The misfires are due to coolant shorting the coils like JagV8 says.

Checked the battery. It's brand new. 12.75 car not running 14.25 car running. I'll have to check to see if there is any coolant in plug wells.

Thanks. Sounds logical that the coolant is shorting coils since it was running fine before. Unfortunately I have to go back to work tonight and won't be able to check it out for 2 weeks.

OK had second thoughts about leaving coolant in Spark Plug Wells for 2 weeks. Pulled the coils and checked. No coolant in any of the Spark Plug Wells. So much for logical and easy.

Swap coils around / put a known good new one in and see if faults change. Coils are a pain when they start failing.

That's the plan once I get back home after my 2 week hitch in the Gulf of Mexico. I'll swap the coils and see if the faults change.

Thanks. Misfires were in 2, 3 and 5. I'll swap 1 & 3, 5 & 7 and 2 & 4.

Finally got to work on the Car today. Changed all the Plugs and Coils. No more Restricted Performance. Car is running great. Now I can try to get it cleaned up before something else goes out.
