restricted performance message

just got this message on my car..used my code reader and its come up misfire on cyl 1.removed error.car starts ok the message back
any help please is it plug or coil?
now its p0351

Could be either, but coil failures are fairly common on 10 year old vehicles. Also make sure the spark plug well is not filled with oil or water. Oil means a valve cover seal leak, water means a coil cover seal leak.
