Well I guess I'm going to have to seriously consider installing the front license on the 2000 XK8. Seems like the local law are getting picky about things lately. Probably due to the economy causing the town councils telling the law police to get with it and bring in some more money.

I am considering the retractible version. Would like to hear from anyone that has one and how to obtain same. Don't like this idea, but I feel it is coming.

I have one, got it on-line at Welcome to Altec Products Inc.. It works great and I always leave it retracted unless I go into the city.

I'd love to fit one of these in retaliation to the epidemic of speed cameras we have in the UK.

Sadly I think they'd lock me up and throw away the key.

I love the idea of a retractable plate. I am concerned, though, about scraping it on those damn parking curbs and such. I already have scars on the bottom of the nose. Fortunately I'd have to be running you over for you to be able to see them.

 

Has anyone tried the PFYC manufactured retractible license plate holder?
