Reverse lights not working on 03 XK8

No, there's another module that controls all the lighting and systems in the rear of the car known as the Rear Electronic Module.

Just talked with repair shop & they're saying they "traced" the wiring & it goes back to where the module is supposed to be in order to complete the circuit, problem is mine is cooked via water damage & doing a web search I can't find a match to the label on mine: 3W83-15K866-AA. Specifically the prefix 3W & suffix AA I've found module's with matching plug in ports & sequences that are close. I don't need the beep, beep audio just for the reverse lights to work! Is there any workaround & could somebody unplug there's to verify if the shop is accurate

03XK8,
The reverse lights are controlled thru the CAN BUS with connection to the SLC module.
You could test the trunk wiring by unplugging BT40, this is a black 16 way connector on the SLC module in the trunk, and applying 12 volts to pin 5 yellow wire, the reverse lights should come on.
The chart I have shows Fuse #1, 5 amps, in the trunk fuse box controls the reverse lights as well as the rear quarter panel window relays.
I tried to find where the CAN BUS gets it's input but no luck, sorry.
All of the REAR lights are controlled by the SLC, you say your SLC is toast, do your other rear light work?.
Jaguar made these cars overly complicated!

Thanks Jandreu you previously helped me out a ton on the fuses. Before I had it towed into the repair shop all the lights & signals worked. The SLCM has been replaced & is good, they were able to start the car. It's very frustrating not being able to work on the car myself, Unfortunately I'm now at the mercy of the repair shop, because I need it to pass inspection.
