Default Reverse park sensors not working

My 2006 XK8 reverse parking sensors just stopped working. I checked the fuse and it was fine. Any advice?

I do not have the wiring Diag for an '06. But I am assuming it is the same as '04. IF that is true. The "Parking Aid Control Module" needs 12v and a line called "reverse lamps activated"s. Are your backup lights on when in reverse??

Default Reverse sensors

I haven't checked the rear lights yet. I have been reading about some of the problems others are having with the sensors. Mine make no noise at all. So I will assume its a module or speeker problem. Anyone know where the reverse park sensor module is located on a 2006 XK8?

I am getting the 6 sec beep when the gearbox is 1st enagaged in R,my reverse lights are working and all the 4 sensors are sending out the clicking noise. So i can probably rule out sensor failure but still i get no noise indication when i reverse upto any type of obstruction.

Any ideas anyone

A clicking sensor is a useful test, but not a totally defintive indication that it is working, since the sensor is both a transmitter and receiver and the clicking only indicates it is transmitting.

That being said, you could also have a fault in your wiring, connectors or control module.
