Lucky bu@@er.
My delivery has been set back until the middle of October!
You do know your new tires were made last year, in July of last year actually...

<p>White Bear - bummer on the delay - hopefully it won't be as long as they say. &nbsp; No had not noticed tires were made last year - appreciate the heads up.</p>

<p>well the past two days have been fun - replaced front shock/springs and installed new rims/tires (still have to do rear shocks/springs - but nice day so want to drive!!!)</p><p>Here are before and after pics<img src="http://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jaguarforums.com-vbulletin/2000x962/80-img_20150714_153625_2782f121bc352d2b05899f687ff3e2 45c327315b.jpg" title="" /><br /><br /><img src="http://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jaguarforums.com-vbulletin/2000x1124/80-img_20150829_143027_bdd392281259c2c92df92625403b9f b160d57d55.jpg" title="" /><br /><br /><img src="http://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jaguarforums.com-vbulletin/2000x1124/80-img_20150829_143030_7de82a38257ce993e0ca0a656bf0aa 6d17cc64ca.jpg" title="" /><br /><br /><img src="http://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jaguarforums.com-vbulletin/2000x1124/80-img_20150829_171526_00194054df9439046476b787e2b806 aee7444a81.jpg" title="" /><br /><br /><img src="https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.jaguarforums.com-vbulletin/2000x1124/80-img_20150829_171543_ae2f2235d639a63fb5c7db6d0c05f3 73d35558f5.jpg" title="" /><br /><br />&nbsp;</p>

Car looks great, love the wheels. What size tires did you install, and how did all that work affect ride height and handling?
Regards,

<p>tires are 245/45 18's.&nbsp; The new springs in the front drop the height 1.2&quot; and the springs I got for the rear will do the same.&nbsp; With the original&nbsp;front springs/shocks, my ride height was 14.5&quot; which I believe is low for stock.&nbsp; I really wasn't considering putting the new springs on the front - just lowering the rear, but once I had the old out, I figured I'd try these and see if I like them or not.</p><p>The new springs kept the ride height at 14.5 as well.&nbsp; Car seems to handle well - only drove around town - no interstate driving yet -&nbsp;possibly tomorrow</p>
