Many of you guys might identify with this title. I took the Jag in for the annual safety inspection today (always stressful). Of course, I had to drop it off and take an Uber home. I left the parking brake off intentionally because I know they will drive it into the bay with the brake on, but anyway - the guy calls me a couple hours later and says the parking brake doesn't work, maybe they can adjust it. Long story short, they said they couldn't fix it and the car was rejected. Sooo, I go to pick the car up, and the counter guy says the brake light won't go out, looks like the parking brake doesn't work at all. So, I say maybe I should show you, and he calls the "technician" and says hey, the owner wants to show you how this "E-Brake" works. I pulled up hard on the brake, pushed the button, and voila, brake light went out. I think the "technician" was so embarrassed he just passed the car. One more year down.
