That's a lot of money, 9k miles isn't much though. Sales like this will probably bring up the market value of our cars though which I have mixed feelings about.

 

nice looking Portfolio - although may just be the angle of the pics but front end looks a bit low

 

Probably needs front shock mounts.

 

If...I had won the PowerBall drawing I dreamt that I was willing to pay 40k for that car. I'm sure glad that I didn't suffer the CV disappointment of being outbid.
That car will only retain that high value if it never gets used as an actual vehicle, what a shame

On the other hand, maybe it will move to long island and be driven a few weeks every year.

I followed that auction and it was quite spirited between 2 primary bidders. Beautiful car and only 9,000 miles. I recommended the winner get on our forum so maybe we will see him here. Miles that low could be an issue in a number of areas.
