Reminds me of Frog's old one. But, erm, needs proper wheels...

Could be a very nice deal. Wish I had the space to turn it around and flip it.

Frog's Frost Blue Final Series XKR 4.2-S went to a German owner in February 2014.

Neither of the new owners have appeared on the forum.

Ah, Frost Blue- it appears the same here. I asked the seller for its location.

Pity the new owners haven't shown. I joined here day 1 and did a virtual handshake here with the PO!

Yeah, and it ended below reserve at $4200. Gosh, I'd have 5 on that.

I don't understand why you think $8k for a car with 143k is cheap. I give people way better deals than that all the time. I just sold a convertible with 46,000 miles for $7100. Where are you guys when I have one for sale?

Haha, I'm in the business as well, and have bought several cars for ppl on this and other forums.

Inevitably, the people who own these cars and are interested enough in them to participate in forums etc always ten to over value or over estimate the worth of these cars.

It happens on the jag forums, the corvette forums, Mercedes, BMW, Porsche forums (by FAR the worse offenders) - discussing Manheim pricing is like declaring yourself the antichrist there.

The problem is that for the most part all of these people already own one of these cars, and are not in the market for another. So their price estimations are based on what they think or feel their existing cars are worth....

If you have clean jags you are looking to sell PM me.

Take care,

George

I don't use a website. I either advertise them locally, on cars.com, or I put them on ebay. I'm a dealer, so I buy them at auto auctions or from private sellers. They usually have problems when I buy them, so I fix them up then resell. I just sold a beautiful red 99 with 76k on ebay for $6100 (I gave it away because it's late in the year and convertible sales have slowed down).
