I notice that when in the 'Modern' XK8 forum I have access to the 'search this forum' tab. But once I do a search like that, if I want to modify the key words, say, and perform another, I can't because the tab is no longer there. I have to start all over again with the forum selection. As I mostly use the XK8 'local' search rather than the always available global version, this gets a bit tedious. Is this a known issue, or am I missing an 'obvious' solution?
I must add here that I have encountered no enthusiast's site of any type that can hold a candle to the Jaguar Forums (nor to its helpful members, so I am reluctant to complain about anything!

 

In my browser I tried right-clicking the link and chose Open in a New Tab. Worked OK.

You can do that any number of times.

Alternative is to use Google with the site: option. It is GREAT for a focused search only in this XK8/R section

 

As I had no idea what Google Site Search option meant, I Googled it. Lo! According to Google, the Site Search was shut down as of April 2018.

 

So?

The posted ideas work don't they?

 

If I don't like my search result I just hit the back button.
My last search criteria is always there waiting to be changed.
