Seat Control broken - DIY fix?
Hey folks!
So last weekend the project work on my lady started. The passenger seat has two issues: one is for later: the forward function of the backrest doesn't work and I assume it's the seat control box rather than the switch as I took it appart and the signalling worked. Also the relais doesn't click when I press the button so either wire or the control box...
Second issue and there's the question: the seat cushion forward & backward switch works, only the little plastic actuator pin is broken:
here you can see where the little plastic pin should be, but isn't...
soooo... I was wondering if anyone has fixed that DIY fashion yet as buying the entire module from the interwebs appers to be in the $200+ range which I consider pretty hefty!
I thought about either glueing a metal pin to it or drilling into it or something. Or maybe that one single piece of plastic can be purchased?
Best

Thanks Brutal! I was planning to swap the modules next weekend, right now my baby is with the mechanic... the switch cover isn't too much of an issue, it's the little pin that connects the switch cover to the actual switch that broke. so when I glue the switch cover to the white piece, the white piece still won't actuate the black seasaw switch.
Does that make sense?
