I have a 97 XK 8, and had my seats recovered. Now the part that has the controls has came loose on both seats. How do you get them to stay in place. Do you have to use adhesive or something else to fix them?

Like all Jaguar plastic, it can break if you even look at it the wrong way!

Had the same issue with my driver side seat control. Found that I needed to with some amount of strength make sure that the control was fully inserted and pushed forward in the mount and then again with significant strength pushed in at the rear and allowed to slide back. As previously stated it is plastic so amount of strength allocated is subject to the installer but it did work once finally inserted.
