Smile Seat Lumbard adjustment

Got in my 2000 XK8 last night and found my lumbard adjustment would move out but would not move back in. Makes a clicking sound but that's all. Right now it is not in a bad position. Is it a really big job to tear into the seat back to find out what is not working and fix it?

Thanks guys.

The lumbar pump does NOT run in the DEFLATE mode. It just clicks to release air from the bladder. Hold the deflate and feel if it gets softer.

Thanks motorcarman. You just save me a heck of a lot of work.
