Seat Switch year specific?

Default Seat Switch year specific?
My drivers side seat switch knob is damaged and am considering replacing the entire switch pack.

The part numbers are similar for pre/post 2003 cars-- are the parts interchangeable? Can I put a switch pack from a 2000 into my 2003?

The seats were redesigned with an adjustable headrest starting 2001. I think 2001 and later are interchangeable.
