Does anybody have a spare LJB2620AA security sounder in working order, for sale? I've searched eBay and other suppliers, they aren't made anymore and there isn't a substitute item.

Hi Andrew,
Even if you get a working S/H replacement, it's likely to die in fairly short order as they're all at least 10 years old.

If you're not too worried about having the battery backup, then you might be able to source a 'non-intelligent' one more easily.

Or you might try a repair if it's not too corroded internally. The gory details of the inside are in this thread:

but is it really worth that expense ? The link above is to a thread I did some time ago - it isn't impossible to dig out the old NiCads and replace them with new, but it is not a job for the faint hearted.
