Default Seeking Information

I am the proud owner of a 2000 XK8, that was hit and sustained front end damage. The information that I am seeking are other model year body parts interchangeable? What is a good resource to see what parts are interchangeable? I came a cross a 1997 with a blown motor but great body parts. Any information will be greatly appreciated!

Buy the 97; I believe most if not all the body panels and parts are compatible up to the 2002 MY vehicles. What you do not use, you can sell in the Sales Category, and reclaim some money.

Check the 'STICKYS' links at the top of the post page, there are six different links, I believe, there you can find Owners Manuals and any other literature that may or may not have come with your vehicle. You can also find Schematics, Drawings, DIY Procedures for just about every repair, and anything else you ever wanted to know about your car. Good Luck

Welcome to the forum newbiexk8,

Sorry to hear about the damage to your XK8.

Several members here have had front end damage from vehicle impact or deer strike and completed repairs using new and used parts. The only regular issue I recall being reported is sourcing used headlamps. How bad is the damage to yours?

Please follow this link New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the New Member Area - Intro a MUST forum and post some info about yourself and your vehicle for all members to see. In return you'll get a proper welcome and some useful advice about posting to the forum.

Agree with 03XKR all of the parts are interchangeable, the 2000 front bumper may have the flush fog lights and the 97 would be more recessed other wise everything else should be OK. I personally like the looks of the recessed fog lights.
