The rotor and pad replacement job went very well. The new setup performs admirably and smooth braking has returned. The pads are ceramic which should nearly eliminate the dust problem as well. The pivot bolts on the upper control arm are still locked up however and nothing is going to remove them unless they're cut out like others have mentioned. Time to regroup or invest in an angle grinder.
