Hi. Just got a used 2000 XK8 and never noticed that the control for the side view mirrors is not working. I assume I need to go to a Jaguar dealer and she'll out some money to get this repaired. Any guesses on what such a repair is going to set me back?

Are you hitting the toggle switch hard enough when you choose a mirror???

 

These switches are know to go bad, a search on this forum will provide some info if you decide to take it apart, many replace it for you can probably find them on ebay. Ensure you have the side selected and give the joystick a good toggle.
