Slightly Different Window Problem
1st- start off with a virtually new battery,
the passenger window goes down nicely but won't go all the way up. Its stops about 1/2 way up. Was working fine and all of a sudden, I"m thinking this is a memory problem and I'll try and reset by disconnecting battery- but anybody have a similiar problem.

Does it sound like it's binding and coming to a halt or is it just stopping like you lifted the button? My window lifts crooked and binds, I need to get to this when I can open the door all the way to work on it. Baby, it's cold outside. This is a track/regulator issue. If yours is an electrical issue then try the window reset by running the window down, hold the bottom til you here 2 faint clicks. Run it up doing the same and maybe that'll reset it. That's all I got for ya. Hope this helps, TM
Tom, "Cocked" = RED FLAG!!!
Its easily fixed, but DON'T try to power through it - I had the pleasure of watching my passenger window disintegrate before my eyes that day years ago when it was stalling and cocked on the way up. We can laugh now, but trust me it ruins your day! I decided to just hold the up button down thinking it'd straighten out. WRONG!
There's an adjustment bolt towards the rear end of the rail guiding the regulator motion. This nut/bolt sometimes loosens dropping the rear end of the rail. Changing the orientation of the window
Its a 15 minute fix (assuming you've had the door card off before - one of those 20 minutes the first time, 4 minutes the 2nd+ time jobs). If you need instructions how where to adjust - just ask.

Indeed, I don't force it. I've been in there before and thought I got it..........I ain't got it. Mine tilts forward and I have to use 2 hands and tilt it back and raise the window. I got caught out in the rain once and that was no fun. I was thinking something on the regulator slide points or pivot pins was worn or some such thing. More investigation and space are needed. Some things not working can be tolerated but windows are not one of them, LOL.

Ok how to remove door card.
Tools: Phillips head
Long thin flat head
Dental pick if you've got it.
Window down
Remove rubber cover inside door handle (2 screws in here)
Screw #1 look straight down remove vertical Phillips head screw.
Screw #2 Use flathead screwdriver to pry back and remove false wall (vertical rear / below window switch pack. Slip the flat blade in under the walnut cover, gently pry back to release the fir tree connector holding this rectangular panel in place.
Once that's out, unscrew swtchpack retaining screw.
You may now start to gently lift window switches out. Warning there are protruding plastic mold reinvention the sides of the black plastic switch pack. Use an old credit card or something to protect the surrounding leather as you pull up and out.
The wire harness is an easy disconnect from switch pack.
Unscrew bottom rear Phillips screw in carpet section of panel.
Now the fun part:
Remove the plug covering the screw head behind the door open handle. Look closely, see the notch at 1 end of this plug? Use either dental pick or tiny flat blade screwdriver to pry this loose. (Hint - install it 180 degrees out for ez removal next time) .
Unscrew the handle screw.
Now the intimidating but super easy part;
Open door get fingers under the upper forward section. Pull straight back. This releases the first tree holders in that corner.
Sidebar i 4get is there a screw bottom forward section securing door panel, not the speaker cover? If yes remove it.
Now hands under forward bottom section. Pull to detach.
Next behind puddle light. Pull to detach. Not the hatd wire into puddle light . You will discover it WITHOUT LOSING THE RECTANGULR Safety clip. Iy wants to fly away!
Lastly the upper rear fir trees to be released. Disconnect puddle light lift panel tilt bottom outwards, lift and remove.
More later this'll get you going.
