Ok, let me say first that it's my fault.
I had my garmin stuck on the drivers side window and pulled into a drive thru & without thinking hit the down on the window. Before I could stop it the Window was jammed against teh suction cup of the Garmin. I got it loose but now the window won't go down any further than that level.
Goes up and down fine, just not all th way down. I did this once before and within a few days it started working normally again. It's been over a week now and no change.
I have tried all of the suggested resets I could find in this forum except disconnecting the battery.
Please help.

Battery disconnect will likely do it. I suppose it's just the module that actually needs to lose power so maybe there's a fuse you could pull instead.

I expect a dealer could reset it but probably costs.

 

Thank you I'll give it a try. I've been a little gun shy about it because of my wife's Mercedes, A lot of problems are linked to disconecting the battery outside of a dealership unless you have the right gear.
On that front, is there anything else that needs to be reset besides the windows after a battery disconect?

 

Just the clock and maybe radio presets I think.

 

Haven't tried it yet, but strongly suspect it will work.

**Hopefully** You didn't break the plastic holders, as they are a common fail point.
