So.... I was looking through my documentation... questions...
I found a label that certified my 05 XKR as being a "Best Certified Pre-Owned Luxury Program" vehicle that also states that it has a transferable 6 year/100,000 mile limited warranty dated 6/28/07. Jackpot?
So, a few questions...
Is this warranty at *any* Jaguar dealership, or is it just from the dealer who certified the vehicle?
What does this cover? Just engine/powertrain?
Or is this just a remnant that won't do anything for me?
Any comments would be appreciated.

Pretty sure this warranty is the same through out the whole country. Good at any Jaguar dealership. The 6 years start when the car was sold NEW for the first time. So if it sold NEW any date after May 5, 2005 you still have a little time left. Jack
Yeah, its good at any Jag dealership, but there are different levels. Some are happy to service them under the warranty and some are not. Also, like was mentioned, its from the date of sale. The 6 year, 100,000 mile warranty on my '05 XKR ran out last October.
Hate to burst your bubble.

Mercedes pre-owned certified vehicles have a warranty that starts with the date of the pre-owned sale. You really should check with the Jaguar dealer to see if you still have some time.
