Default Soft/Convertible Top Replacement

There are a couple of spots on my convertible top that are quite literally worn threadbare over the frame. So I need to have the top replaced. There is a good auto upholstery shop locally that does top replacements. I have searched the forum and have found precious little on this subject. Does anybody have any insight on if the top requires a similar amount of effort as ( say ) a Mustang ?

Does anybody have any literature on how the work is done ...TSB maybe.

I have no intention of doing this myself, but Jags are pretty rare around here and I'm looking for info to pass along to the shop.

Thanks

In my experience providing "how to's" pisses off the repair facility.

Not around this neck of the woods ....any insight on stuff that is not Ford , Doge or Chev is generally very much appreciated in my experience. I would say there are maybe 10 Jags with 500 miles of me

Download JTIS: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...archive-66011/

There is a section on convertible top replacement in the repair manual.
