Default Soft top seal rubbers splitting

I have a mid 2001 built early 2002 registered XKR convertible. One issue I can't seem to resolve is the rubber seals that meet the windows constantly split. I've replaced them a few times but they don't seem to last long. This is probably due to the fact that the replacements are old and there seems to be no new ones available. Has anyone found a way to stop them splitting or found a better replacement for them?

I have found that treating the rubber parts with the "rubber seal conditioner" made for RV slide seals helps keep my convertible's seals supple and sealing well. I had had a problem with water leaks at some of the seals, and this resolved that issue.

Are your windows properly aligned? If the seals continue to split it sounds like something is out of allignement and needs to adress
