Hi all, over the years I have looked at all the threads on replacing thespeakers. I do not have the premium sound system. For now I would like to just replacethe existing speakers as they are cracking and sound horrible. Is there adirect replacement out there in terms of fit, plug in for the wire and screwholes that anyone is aware of? Thanks.

Your options are new speakers with housings from Jaguar. (Ouch)
Used speakers and housings from a breaker.

Replace the speakers and reuse your original housings.
Several posts on the forum on choices.
Not all models the same.

 

When my rear speakers went out in my 97 XK8. I had them re-coned at Orange County Speaker, Orange, CA. Came back sounding like new. They do a great job for less than new ones.
