Is it possible to upgrade my standard alpine audio to the premium.

I know the premium wiring to the speaker locations is there between the armrest and the 4 front tweeters.

So do I just need the amp and four speakers?

 

just adding better speakers will make a huge difference especially the tweeters in the a pillars and the ones on the dash I wouldn't worry about the rear speakers to much as they really don't have much impact and there are no rear passengers.

 

The headunit has a switch on its chassis to switch between standard (without the amp) and premium (with the amp) modes .

 

Thanks. But as I have my seat fully back I hear the rear speakers more than the front. So when using the head unit I have to fade it forward.

However I have fitted a parrot mki9000 and just using the parrot internal amp the sound quality is poor with high bass. So I want install it with the amp and feed it in via an aux.
