There’s a huge safety issue with running a single cable thru the bulkhead. And not just the one already pointed out regarding the sharp edges of sheet metal.

The factory 2 cable / junction box is the safest way to isolate the trunk area in case of getting rear ended.

where I live other drivers don’t care about their own lives, let alone mine.

keep the factory set up and you will have less “unintended consequences” to deal with. No one can see everything. And second guessing the inherent safeguards put in place by the factory design team would be more than foolish, imho.

I hear ya... but imho i dont think engineering is Jaguars strong point. In fact its probably one of the weaker points. Haha
so brass bolt- nylon insert nut- bulkhead- other half of nylon nut- starter cable - alt cable- brass nut..
is that the correct setup for optimal current flow?

Are you always so pissed ... is it because youre broke? You can call me stupid all day Mr ****! I am just trying to learn, which is why im asking questions. I dont remember asking for a condescending attitude or some negative energy. .. 2 things that insecure miserable men with nothing but regrets in their life tend to dish out at the first chance they see in hopes of producing some testosterone for the first time in 20 years ! Good luck with that Mr ****. Try some ashwaganda and potassium. Bless your heart!
